This is such a fun little set. If your little ones love to pretend to cook, eat and serve dinner, then these little play dishes are such a fun addition. These wood toy dishes are the perfect size for hosting a tea party for your favorite dolls or stuffies.
The Waldorf and Montessori Inspired Wooden Toy Dishes is a set of 4 place settings. It consists of 4 wooden bowls, 4 wooden plates, 4 wooden cups, 4 small spoons, a “pot” (dish with lid) and a “serving spoon”. Optional items are the rolling pin, tongs and small scoop. They are finished with organic olive oil and beeswax polish.
Wood bowls can help with learning simple actions such as filling up and emptying out (a sensory bin is perfect for this). A bowl can also be used to cover another bowl and, in that way, its content can be hidden or made to disappear! Have fun with it. They can also stack up high — but you have to balance them just right in order to do so. And of course — imaginary and free play are encouraged. Play with the bowls in a play kitchen, with dollies — your little one will show you!! Stack up all the bowls and put your favourite shapes on top! This is a waldorf learning toy that can also be used for practicing their counting skills. Count the dishes!!! This set pairs beautifully with other toys in our lineup.
This set is good for sorting, shape identification, pincer grasp, counting, stacking, hand-eye coordination — the list goes on. Plus it is great for imaginary play. Open ended play is also encouraged — use the dishes to pretend play in the kitchen — measuring out spices & ingredients and stirring in the bowl. The dishes are pleasing to touch; as well as look beautiful on a shelf.

We have had so much fun planting gardens and gathering crops with this filler! We have spent time talking about planting/harvest seasons and why we plant certain times of the year etc. I highly recommend the filler for all kinds of veggie fun! The children have learned so much by planting and harvesting.

My class LOVED playing with the vegetable trays I purchased. It was wonderful the way they worked together as they loaded in the small, fuzzy balls into the trays. With 10 early 3 year old it was much, much easier to use small balls instead of a rice and noodles mix. The four year olds really enjoyed the rice mixture and the sensory aspect. Everyone had a great time. Awandco is great to get trays to be quickly and the wide variety allows lots of different play. The small trays are my favorite with all the different styles many children can play at once and I don’t break the bank!

I have most of the under the sea stampers and I love all of them. The stampers are beautiful - great size and quality and the images come out so well in playdough (even the more intricate ones) whether you press lightly or hard.
Another great set of dough stampers. The details come out clearly and they are beautiful designs. I’m thinking of using these for baking cookies too!
These are just beautiful. Heirloom quality. Solid wood, great size and the smell of the freshly burned image on the one side is amazing. The image comes out nice and clean in playdough and no bits get stuck in the stamp (at least from what I’ve tried so far). I’m going to order the upper case ones as well.
